Arizona's unemployment rate went up slightly (0.1%) in July 2012 to 8.3%. This is the first monthly increase for AZ in 2012 and breaks the recent trend of 8.2% (the unemployment rate for the past 3 months). Compared to last month there are about 2,600 more unemployed individuals in AZ than in June. There are also almost 12,000 fewer employed individuals and just over 9,000 fewer people in the civilian workforce in Arizona.
