Salgado out 2-3 months with broken foot
Vancouver Whitecaps and U.S. youth national team forward Omar Salgado will miss the next 2-to-3 months after breaking his foot, sources told Fox Soccer on Thursday. Salgado suffered the injury while on international duty with the U.S. Under-20 men's national team, which is currently in South America for matches against Uruguay and Chile. Salgado was an injury replacement on the roster for Real Salt Lake's Luis Gil, and he played in the United States' 4-2 loss to Uruguay on Wednesday before being taken off in the 82nd minute for FC Dallas forward Jonathan Top.
