Layoffs, Dismissals, and Wrongful Terminations: The Unintended Consequences
Many companies neglect to consider the possibility of a wrongful termination claim arising from mass layoffs. Management must take applicable laws and policies into consideration before making any final decision. Although discrimination lawsuits are the most costly, other claims can be made that could exert the company's resources.
