AOL Links with Google's YouTube for Original Content Syndication
AOL, one of the biggest video destinations in the United States, has linked a deal to publish its original videos on YouTube as a means to gain additional scale, says Ran Harnevo, SVP for Video at AOL On, in this interview with Beet.TV He says that some 20,000 AOL clips are now on YouTube. The clips are from AOL properties, not the syndicated videos from other producers. We caught up with him at the IAB MIXX conference in Manhattan. Andy Plesser
