NewBay Media has announced that Digital Video Expo is returning to New York City for its annual Digital Video Expo East, held June 20th at the Metropolitan Pavilion in Manhattan.
Produced by Digital Video magazine, TV Technology magazine and the Creative Planet Network of sites, Digital Video Expo East will showcase the latest tools and technologies on the show floor from companies including Panasonic, AJA, Sony, Avid, and Miller, and offer attendees on-site events, presentations and Q&As throughout the day.
Additionally, in partnership with Digital Video Expo, FMC Training will present a full-day, two-part educational program co-located at the event. The program is divided into two components, "Understanding the 4K Workflow" and "HDSLR Cinematography." The "Intro to the 4K Workflow" session, held from 9:30am to 12:30pm, will focus on what's needed to shoot, edit and deliver content in 4K (and beyond), while "HDSLR Cinematography," held from 1:30pm to 4:30pm, will show attendees how to get the most out of DSLR video and create stunning, cinematic scenes.
"We're looking forward to welcoming the East Coast production community to Digital Video Expo East," said Carmel King, NewBay Media Executive Vice President. "We're confident that they will not only enjoy the event, but will also return to work with important additional skills, perspectives, knowledge, and contacts."
